Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor and producer. She has been awarded numerous acting awards and is one of the top-paid actors. Nush has also been a Brand Ambassador for a variety of businesses and has her own clothing for women line. In addition, she has made a presence in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma born 1st May 1988 in Ayodhya located in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is an officer in the Colonel (retd.) Her mother is a housewife. Karnesh, Anushka Sharma's older brother who served in Merchant Navy is now a film director. Anushka is a graduate at the Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College located in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma is a graduate with a Master's Degree in Economics. Anushka did not want to acting, but was more interested in becoming as a journalist or model. Anushka relocated to Mumbai after she completed her degree and was enrolled at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by fashion consultant Prasad Bidapa. Her first appearance as a fashion model came in 2017, after she modelled in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was chosen by Rodricks to be a model at the Spring Summer 2007 collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in numerous campaigns, which include campaigns for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an acting class and started giving auditions for film. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the 2008 film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took time to study and was able to not attempt the test on her own. Then she was commissioned for three movies as part of the Yash Raj Films label. In the movie, she was portrayed as a young lady who was married to a middle age man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma played the role in the film 'Badmash Company that was released in. The film also featured Shahid Kapoor and the actor Vir Das. The movie got mixed reviews. That same year Anushka Sharma appeared in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh in an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who begins her own wedding-planning business. It was a surprise hit with a lot of praise. Anushka's contract to make three films under Yash Raj Films was completed with Band Baaja Baaraat.
